Leadloch Farm
In fact it ties-in remarkably closely with a very fine version carved in stone above the doorway to Leadloch Farm (now empty and abandoned) near Faulds, about which I was contacted recently (Sep 2015) by Lisa Davis. I don't know what the dates on the lintel signify.
My learned cousin Gavin Waddell, author of A History of the Waddells in Scotland, tells me that these arms have, however, never been matriculated with the Lyon King of Arms, and are therefore without any official sanction or recognition. I just think they provide a feeling of emotional contact with family generations quondam futurisque.
