Cyril Joseph Settle Dodd QC MP
(1844 – 29 Jan 1913)
Second son of Rev Joseph Dodd MA (Oxon) (d 18 Dec 1891), rector of Hampton Poyle, and brother of Frederick Sutton Dodd and John Theodore Dodd.
He clearly wasn't yet a QC at the time of Findlay's trial in 1880. I don't know when he took Silk, but he became Liberal MP for Maldon from 1892 until 1895. His particular area of expertise was railway law, and he eventually became a County Court Judge. There are numerous internet references to Messrs Waddy and Dodd appearing in tandem, most usually in the northern counties.
